Jinshengchang LoRa GPS Livestock Ear Tag

As livestock farms become larger and more digital, manual counting and field inspections are no longer sufficient for efficient herd management. The Jinshengchang LoRa GPS Ear Tag combines satellite positioning, long-range LoRa communication and low-power technology to help farmers track cattle, sheep and other grazing animals.

What Is a LoRa GPS Ear Tag?

A LoRa GPS ear tag is a compact tracking device attached to an animal’s ear. It collects GPS location data and transmits the information to a LoRa gateway and livestock management platform.

Compared with trackers that rely entirely on cellular networks, LoRa technology is particularly suitable for remote farms where mobile coverage is limited, livestock numbers are high and animals move across large areas. Gateways can be deployed according to the farm’s terrain, size and tracking requirements.

Main Product Features

  • GPS/BDS positioning: Locate livestock and record their movements.
  • Long-range LoRa communication: Designed for farms and remote grazing areas.
  • Low-power operation: Adjustable positioning and reporting intervals help extend battery life.
  • Geofence alerts: Generate notifications when animals leave designated areas.
  • Historical routes: Review past livestock movement records.
  • Large-scale device management: Monitor numerous cattle and sheep ear tags from one platform.
  • Status alerts: Optional low-battery, offline and prolonged-inactivity notifications.
  • Individual device ID: Connect every ear tag with a specific livestock record.
