LoRaWAN SOS Employee Tracking Badge for Low-Power Indoor and Outdoor Worker Safety

A LoRaWAN SOS employee tracking badge is designed for factories, mines, construction sites, warehouses, hospitals and large industrial facilities where worker location and emergency response are essential. It combines employee identification, positioning, long-range communication and SOS alerts in one lightweight wearable device.

The badge can integrate GPS, BeiDou, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN, RFID or NFC according to the requirements of the project. GPS or BeiDou can provide outdoor positioning, while Bluetooth beacons, LoRaWAN gateways and indoor anchors can identify the worker’s floor, zone, room or work area inside buildings and underground environments.

When an emergency occurs, the employee can press and hold the SOS button to send an alert. The management platform can display the employee ID, name, alarm time, battery level and latest known location. Supervisors can receive and process alerts through a web platform or Android and iOS applications.
