Solution Overview
Shenzhen Jinshengchang Technology Co., Ltd. provides a hybrid Bluetooth and LoRaWAN indoor positioning solution for factories, warehouses, hospitals, mines, construction sites, industrial parks and underground facilities. The solution combines the low deployment cost of Bluetooth positioning with the long-range, low-power communication capability of LoRaWAN.
Personnel carry a LoRaWAN smart badge equipped with Bluetooth scanning, an SOS button and motion detection. Bluetooth beacons installed in rooms, corridors and work zones broadcast location identifiers. The badge detects the nearest beacon and sends the location, battery status, alarm and activity data to a LoRaWAN gateway. The gateway then forwards the information to the lora8 IoT platform.

Core Functions
The system supports room-level or zone-level indoor positioning, real-time personnel monitoring, SOS emergency alarms, electronic fences, restricted-area alerts, prolonged-stay alarms, inactivity detection, low-battery warnings and historical movement records. Positioning accuracy depends on beacon density and the building environment and can normally reach approximately 1–5 metres for zone-based applications.
