LoRaWAN Smart Water Valve for Remote Irrigation & IoT Water Control
The lora8 LoRa Smart Irrigation System, developed by Shenzhen Jinshengchang Technology Co., Ltd., is designed for farms, orchards, greenhouses, landscaping projects and large-scale agricultural irrigation. The system combines LoRa wireless communication, smart irrigation valves, a gateway, solar power and a cloud management platform to provide long-range and low-power remote irrigation control.
In open environments, the system can provide approximately 2–4 km radius coverage, depending on terrain, antenna installation and environmental conditions. One gateway can manage 60+ smart valves, helping users reduce wiring, labor and on-site operation costs. LoRa or 4G communication can be selected according to project requirements.
The smart valve series supports different valve structures and pipe installation methods, including UPVC smart 3-way ball valves, ceramic 3-way valves, T-type valves, layflat-hose valves and one-to-two split valves. Pressure and flow monitoring can also be integrated according to the configuration.
How to Use
Install the smart valve on the irrigation pipeline, connect the LoRa gateway and configure each valve on the lora8 platform. Users can then remotely open or close valves, divide fields into irrigation zones, configure irrigation schedules and check valve status through a mobile phone or management platform.
For large farms, several valves can work together to create automatic irrigation zones. Optional pressure and flow sensors can help monitor irrigation performance and provide data for more accurate water management.
The system is suitable for farms, orchards, vegetable fields, greenhouses, pasture irrigation, landscaping, water-saving projects and smart agriculture projects.
OEM/ODM customization is available, including LoRa frequency, PCB, firmware, enclosure, valve interface, gateway, APP, platform and API integration.
